As the Managing Broker, Ray's successful sales career has spanned a period of 30 years and many different industries. Born and raised in Vancouver, Ray relocated to Whistler permanently in 2001 and made resort real estate his career of choice 8 years ago. Ray has immense knowledge and experience in the marketing and sales of resort real estate. During his tenure he has been involved in planning and implementing strategies for presale launch events and after launch tempo campaigns. Ray's impressive career history includes distinguishing himself as one of RE/MAX Whistler's top ten Realtors, posting an average per annum growth rate of 20%. This experience has allowed Ray the opportunity to foster and maintain lasting, mutually lucrative relationships and fine-tuning his selling, negotiation, presentation and business management skills.

Beyond his impressive career profile, Ray has an active connection to the Whistler community and a deep appreciation for the magical qualities of Whistler. His wealth of experience in the resort business, his sensitivity to community needs, and his history of client devotion make him an invaluable addition to Playground.

Outside of the office, Ray enjoys downhill skiing, mountain biking, road biking, swimming, skate skiing, rowing, and exploring the beach on Hornby Island with his lovely wife Stephanie Sloan, and future Olympian Julia Murray.

As Director of Sales with Playground and Intrawest over the past 15 years Bob's real estate career has spanned all points north, south, east and west with the company in addition to several third party developers throughout Central and North America.

As a licensed realtor since 1993 Bob began selling and launching real estate in Whistler Village and the Blackcomb Benchland's at that time. Bob recently returned to rejoin the Playground Real Estate Inc., Whistler team and lead the Evolution sales campaign into the 2010 season.

Bob brings both international and local sales and management experience as a sales person and manager to the Whistler team in addition to a lifelong personal connection with Whistler. Since having visited Whistler for the first time in 1965 "My first memory of driving to Squamish/Whistler was that the pavement completely ended at Brohm Ridge and it was only rough gravel from there to Whistler, it has been amazing to see it evolve ever since".

Bob grew up in a North Vancouver ski family in the 1960's on Grouse Mountain so skiing and the outdoors has been a part of his family ever since. Bob was also a member of the Canadian Men's Alpine Ski team from 1979 to 1983. Whistler Creek holds a very special connection for Bob having competed in Nor-Am and World Cup Downhill races on the Dave Murray downhill course into Creekside in the 70's and 80's. "I am especially looking forward to the Olympics after 40 years of anticipation it is finally going to become a reality and will be the crowning moment for Whistler and Creekside".

Outside of work Bob enjoys fly fishing, off road motorcycling and has a passion for cars and dogs that goes back to his childhood and when not working you can usually find Bob pursuing one of these activities. "And yes I still ski, but prefer to choose my days for when it is sunny and groomed. That way I still have to wait for my friends and not have to have them wait for me."

Eric joined Playground in 2003 as an Application Developer at head office in Vancouver and shifted gears to sales in February 2008. Born and raised in Richmond, Eric enjoyed coming up to Whistler (albeit a "Weekend Warrior") since he was very young. Finally getting to work and play in Whistler is a dream come true. Eric enjoys helping people and finding the right property for your family in one of the world's premier playgrounds is his goal.

When away from the office, Eric spends as much time as he can with his son Tyler and wife Michelle. Eric also enjoys traveling (Hawaii, Europe and soon to be Disney Land!), skiing, hiking, biking and home renovations. Both he and his wife love the outdoors so the move up to the mountains from the city has been a welcome change!

Since first becoming a licensed realtor in 1988, Harold has enjoyed making dreams come true for countless people, many of whom have gone on to become good friends. Harold considers it a great honor that so much of his success has come from repeat clients and personal referrals as people have come to know and trust him over the course of his career. He has earned a solid reputation for exceptional professional service and uncompromising integrity and been a consistent top producer, being honored with numerous awards including the prestigious "Best of The Best" as one of the top five sales people for Playground Real Estate and Intrawest world wide. Harold most enjoys resort real estate as he sees how it enhances the lives of so many, bringing people closer with their loved ones and creating memories to last a lifetime. Prior to moving to Whistler, Harold was part of the Playground Real Estate team at Panorama Mountain Village and then served as Director for the sales team of a new 5-star resort development in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. When offered the opportunity to relocate he decided there was nowhere he would rather be than Whistler, offering the perfect blend of active outdoor lifestyle, a closely knit small town atmosphere, and world class services and amenities.

When not sharing this beautiful destination with clients, Harold most enjoys hiking and mountain biking plus of course skiing, with the lifts conveniently located only steps away from our office in Creekside Village. His wife Karen works in the accounting field and sons Cameron and Ian eagerly embrace all that Whistler has to offer. The newest addition to the family is an energetic young beagle Daisy who ensures everyone spends some time in the great outdoors on a daily basis. Living in Whistler is a dream come true!
